The 10Th Kuwaiti Relief Planload Of Supplies Arrive In Al-Arish

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- The 10th Kuwaiti planeload of humanitarian supplies for Gaza arrived at Al-Arish airport in northern Sinai on Thrusday.
The cargo, 40 tons of food supplies, is destined for the Gaza strip. Latifa Al-Mir, board member of Kuwait Red Crescent Society said in remarks to KUNA after the plane touched down at the air strip that the operation was part of "fazaat al-kuwait" campaign carried out in cooperation among the ministries of foreign affairs, defense, social affairs and the KRCS.
The relief air bridge was the second that has been launched by the State of Kuwait in implementatin of guidelines by the political leadership, Al-Mir said.
She expressed gratitude to Kuwaiti association and charities that have taken part in dispatching aid to Gaza.
The supplies in the second air bridge amount to 190 tons. (end)
