Maqasid Charity Hospital Offered Free Treatment To Over 65,000 Patients So Far

Amman, Sep. 17 (Petra) – Maqasid Charity Hospital (MCH), affiliated with Zakat Fund of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, launched a free medical day in Mu'tah region of ??Southern Mazar district, with the participation of a medical team representing various specialties.
In a statement, the hospital's director general, Dr. Bassam Shloul, said the medical day was part of the preaching and guidance forums, sponsored by the Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Mohammad Khalayleh.
Shloul added that the medical team administered medical and laboratory tests for patients and offered free medication and treatment.
During the day's activities, he announced a total of 392 patients received medical services, noting that an ultrasound device was used to test pregnant women.
This initiative, he stated, comes within the framework of the hospital's plan to support local communities with free medical services.
Since 2018, he noted the hospital has launched 114 free medical days nationwide, benefiting more than 65,000 patients.
