Egypt Sends Nursing Specialists To Japan For Training Under Joint Education Initiative
The delegation includes specialists from the General Administration of Nursing as well as hospitals in the New Administrative Capital, El Shorouk, and Beni Suef. The programme is designed to strengthen managerial and technical skills and transfer international best practices to improve the quality of healthcare services in Egypt.
Hanady Mohamed, Head of the Medical Professions Development Sector, said the participants were selected according to strict criteria to ensure strong representation of Egypt's nursing workforce. Nevine Mohamed, Head of the General Administration of Nursing, added that the initiative aims to prepare future nursing leaders capable of keeping pace with global advancements.
Esraa Abouzeid, Director of Training Centres, stressed that the partnership with Japan reflects the ministry's commitment to expanding international cooperation in professional training.
The opening ceremony featured remarks from Saku University and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), underscoring the depth of bilateral ties. One of the participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity, pledging to apply the knowledge gained to benefit Egypt's healthcare system.
