Hunter Kozak, Who Quizzed Charlie Kirk Moments Before Gunfire, Opens Up 24 Hours Later: 'I Disagree With Him But He....'

(MENAFN- Live Mint) The Utah University student Hunter Kozak, who was asking Charlie Kirk a question on mass shootings moments before the surprise gunfire has come in the spotlight. Almost 24-hours after the attack, he opened up about how he felt about the unforeseen event.

In a video statement, he can be heard saying,“People obviously pointed to the irony....the point I was trying to make is how peaceful the left was (long pause) right before he got shot.”

In the full video statement that he posted, he walked through the Recalling the incident in the Instagram video he posted online almost“a rough 24 hours” since the deadly incident, he said,“It's a tragedy,” adding“It's hard to grapple with.”

The 31-year-old conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot dead on September 10 with a single supersonic gunshot, according to an audio forensics expert.

Discussing his disagreements with the controversial figure, Kozak shared clips from previous videos he posted on social media, explaining the reason why he decided to attend the event and ask MAGA supporter a question.

Reacting to the tragic shooting and expressing condolences, he said,“I'm on the record with how much I disagree with Charlie Kirk but like, man dude, he is still a human being. Have we forgotten that?”

A manhunt is underway for the assassinator, and the FBI has offered a $100,000 reward for information in the case, CNN reported.
