Gaza Bleeds: Israeli Atrocities Kill 11 More Civilians, Bury Over 25 Under Rubble
(MENAFN) A wave of Israeli air and artillery attacks across Gaza on Tuesday claimed at least 11 lives and left more than 25 people buried under rubble, according to medical and civil defense sources.
In Rafah, southern Gaza, six individuals were killed while waiting for humanitarian aid, media reported. Meanwhile, five others died after Israeli forces opened fire on civilians queuing for aid in Khan Younis, also in the south.
The Israeli military shelled a residence sheltering displaced families in the Shati refugee camp, injuring several and trapping over 25 people beneath the debris, civil defense teams confirmed.
In Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan district, Israeli forces detonated multiple homes by deploying booby-trapped robots, coinciding with artillery shelling in the area.
Additional shelling struck Khan Younis and the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, though no casualties have been reported yet.
Earlier Tuesday, the Israeli army issued a sweeping evacuation order for all of Gaza City, forcing nearly 1 million residents to flee their homes and move south toward Al-Mawasi in Khan Younis.
Since October 2023, Israel’s relentless offensive has killed over 64,500 Palestinians, leaving Gaza devastated and its population facing widespread famine.
In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, charging them with war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Additionally, Israel confronts a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its military actions in the territory.
