US Strategic Metals And FWO Sign Mou On Critical Minerals Cooperation
US Strategic Metals (USSM), a Missouri-based company, and Pakistan's Frontier Works Organization (FWO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate in the field of critical minerals. The signing ceremony was held at the Prime Minister's House, attended by Zach Harkenrider, Acting Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy.
Speaking on the occasion, US Chargé d'Affaires in Pakistan, Natalie Baker, said the MoU is another example of strengthening ties between the United States and Pakistan. She noted that the US government considers critical mineral resources vital for national security and prosperity and expressed hope for further agreements with Pakistan in this sector.

Baker added that the Trump administration has prioritized such bilateral agreements to promote cooperation in mining and mineral resources, keeping in view US security and development goals.
US Strategic Metals specializes in the production and recycling of critical minerals. According to the US Department of Energy, these minerals are essential for advanced manufacturing and energy-related technologies.
