Three Dead, 11 Injured: Emergency Rescue Operations Completed In Kyiv's Sviatoshynskyi District


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the overnight missile and drone attack on September 7 severely damaged a nine-story residential building, killing three people-including a child-and injuring eleven others.

Rescue teams evacuated seven residents from the building. Psychologists from the emergency service provided support to 171 individuals affected by the strike.

In total, more than 360 tonnes of debris and construction materials were cleared from the site. Around 130 rescue workers and 21 units of emergency equipment were involved in the operation.

As previously reported, over ten locations across Kyiv sustained damage during the attack, with direct hits recorded on residential buildings in both the Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts.

By the end of the day, authorities confirmed two fatalities and twenty injuries in the capital. On September 8, the body of a third victim was recovered from the rubble of the destroyed building in the Sviatoshynskyi district.
