Laurent Ezekiel To Lead Ogilvy As Devika Bulchandani Shifts To WPP

NEW YORK - Ogilvy has named Laurent Ezekiel global CEO, following Devika Bulchandani's appointment as WPP's new chief operating officer.
Bulchandani after Andy Main stepped down, oversaw the network's five business units - PR, advertising, experience, health and growth & innovation - and led the integration of Grey into Ogilvy earlier this year. Ogilvy PR has been led globally by Julianna Richter since 2020.
Ezekiel joins Ogilvy from his role as CEO of WPP Open X, the network established in 2021 to handle Coca-Cola's global marketing across more than 200 brands in 195 countries. Under his leadership, WPP Open X developed Studio X and helped Coca-Cola secure Brand of the Year at Cannes Lions 2024.
Floriane Tripolino, who previously led the Nestlé account for WPP, has been named CEO of WPP Open X, succeeding Ezekiel.

The appointments are among the first major moves under new WPP CEO Cindy Rose , who took over on September 1 after seven years of Mark Read's leadership. Rose was a longtime Microsoft executive, most recently serving as COO of global enterprise.
