Qatar Takes Part In GCC Honouring Ceremony In Kuwait
Kuwait: The State of Qatar, represented by Minister of Labour H E Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri, participated in a ceremony honoring pioneering projects and figures in the fields of civil service, labour, and social affairs. The ceremony was held on the sidelines of the ministerial meetings for civil service, labour, and social development affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held in the State of Kuwait.
The honouring ceremony was attended by Their Excellencies the Ministers, Undersecretaries, Heads of Civil Service, Administrative Development, Labour, and Social Development Affairs, and participating delegations from GCC countries.
The ceremony affirms the importance of partnerships with the private sector in supporting job placement and localisation policies, as it aims to highlight the distinguished experiences of companies that have contributed to empowering national cadres and increasing their participation in the labour market, in addition to shedding light on successful small businesses.
The State of Qatar was honored with the recognition of two leading entities in the field of job placement and localisation: Qatar National Bank (QNB) and Qatar Airways. The“Actor” project was also honored as the best small project in the GCC countries.
