Third Edition Of Real Estate Forum To Solidify Qatar's Position As Leading Investment Destination
Doha, Qatar: Doha is gearing up for the 3rd edition of Qatar Real Estate Forum - a leading platform for promising partnerships and inspiring ideas that fuel growth and innovation. Qatar's premier real estate event which is a distinguished platform to shape the future of investment returns alongside Cityscape Qatar from October 14-16.
Under the patronage of H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) is organising the forum.
Revealing the details about the forum in a press conference yesterday, Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaidli, President of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) noted that this edition builds on the success of previous ones and embodies the ongoing efforts to solidify Qatar's position as a leading real estate and investment destination.
The Qatar Real Estate Forum is a leading annual platform that brings together an elite group of leaders, decision-makers, experts, investors, and developers in the real estate sector, creating an effective space for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and shaping its future.
The forum also seeks to keep pace with the latest global trends in areas such as sustainability, PropTech, and smart city development, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the Qatari market and affirming Qatar's position as a leading regional and international real estate investment destination.
The forum's organisation reflects the Authority's commitment to enhancing the real estate sector's role as a key pillar of the Third National Development Strategy (2024-2030), In accordance with the wise leadership's directives to construct a more prosperous future for Qatar.
Addressing the event, Al-Obaidli said“The forum serves as an annual platform for investors, experts, and real estate developers to explore promising opportunities in the Qatari real estate market, enhance confidence in the sector, and foster collaboration among various stakeholders, thereby supporting the development path aligned with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.”
Replying to a query on participating countries in the forum he noted that this year's edition is distinguished by a strategic partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will be the official Guest of Honor. It will also witness worldwide participation of international speakers.
The Kingdom will be represented by a pavilion featuring several Saudi government entities involved in the real estate sector, a step aimed at promoting integration and the exchange of expertise between the two countries, he added.
Highlighting the main topics of the 3rdedition, Al-Obaidli revealed that it will address pivotal issues to foster the sector's growth. The first topic focuses on the Government's Role in the sector, highlighting legislation and policies that ensure a safe and stimulating investment environment.
The second topic will be dedicated to Real Estate Technology (PropTech), showcasing the latest digital solutions aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency. The third topic will address the Investor's Journey, offering key guidance to enable investors to maximize available opportunities and streamline procedures. In its fourth topic, the forum will showcase Major and Promising Projects that open new horizons for development and progress in the State of Qatar.
Regarding promotional efforts he explained that 'Aqarat' has developed a comprehensive and integrated media plan for this edition, in addition to launching the forum's official website today.
Al-Obaidli extended his sincere gratitude to all sponsors and partners for their support and collaboration in preparing for the launch of the 3rdedition and emphasising that their contributions will be a cornerstone of the anticipated event's success.
