At Semicon India 2025, Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw presented the first fully Made-in-India Vikram 32-bit microprocessor to PM Modi. Developed by ISRO's Semiconductor Lab, the chip is qualified for use in harsh conditions like launch vehicles. Vaishnaw praised India's rapid strides in the semiconductor mission.
