Kuwait Fencing Team Continues Grabbing Medals In West Asia Tourney

MANAMA, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's fencing team continued its medal winning streak on Monday at the West Asian Nations Championship, hosted by Bahrain and running until September 4.
On the third day of the tournament, held at Al-Najma Sports Club, the national team won six medals, bringing its total to 21.
Sahar Al-Omair, the under-15 girls' saber, and Abdulaziz Duaij, the under-15 boys', won first place and the gold medal.
In the under-15 boys' epee competition, Khaled Al-Houli won second place and the silver medal, while Yousef Al-Shammari came in third, winning the bronze medal.
Bronze medals were won by Shaikha Al-Batty in the under-15 girls' epee and Nour Al-Najjar in the under-15 girls' foil. (end)
