Rs 664M Distributed To Martyrs' Families And Flood Victims In KP

On the directives of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, compensation distribution among martyrs' families and disaster-affected individuals is continuing across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Special Assistant on Information Barrister Dr. Saif, cheques worth Rs 664 million have so far been distributed among the families of 332 martyrs. Of these, Rs 342 million was given to the families of 171 martyrs from Buner district alone, while injured individuals have received cheques amounting to Rs 19.5 million.

Dr. Saif further stated that compensation for houses fully or partially damaged in floods has also begun. Owners of completely destroyed houses have been provided Rs 58 million in total, whereas Rs 14.5 million has been given to the owners of 39 partially damaged houses.

He added that the distribution process for house compensation would be expedited. Additionally, Rs 15,000 in food stamps has been provided to affected individuals through a digital application.

Barrister Dr. Saif emphasized that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the provincial government stands firmly with all affected families and will ensure timely compensation payments.
