Al Sheehaniya Municipality Removes 73 Abandoned Vehicles

Doha, Qatar: Al Sheehaniya Municipality, represented by the General Control Section of the Municipal Control Department, carried out a large-scale campaign to remove abandoned vehicles across various areas within its jurisdiction.

The campaign was conducted in cooperation with the Abandoned Vehicles Removal Committee and the General Cleanliness Department.

During the operation, inspectors identified more than 110 abandoned vehicles. Of these, 73 abandoned cars, cabins, and spare parts were removed, while violation reports were also issued against offenders in accordance with municipal regulations.

The initiative forms part of the municipality's periodic action plan to enhance public cleanliness and preserve the aesthetic appeal of the urban environment. Authorities emphasised that such measures are key to ensuring a safe and healthy living atmosphere for residents.

Al Sheehaniya Municipality confirmed that inspection and removal campaigns will continue, reflecting its commitment to addressing public concerns by reducing environmental hazards and maintaining the overall quality of life in the region.
