Look: Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor Lead A Quirky Rom-Com In 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari'

Bollywood just dropped a vibrant new motion poster of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and it's every bit as flamboyant as its name.

The poster shows Varun Dhawan in his classic, extravagant avatar, styled in colourful, gridded frames that match his over-the-top persona. Janhvi Kapoor, on the other hand, switches it up between glitzy glamour and nerdy charm - making the contrast instantly striking. Together, they come with the tagline:“Two heartbreakers and one wicked plan.”

The teaser hints at drama between couples - suggesting Dhawan and Kapoor might just be plotting to break up another pair, played by Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf. Throw in Akshay Oberoi, Maniesh Paul, and more names from the ensemble, and the film is clearly packaged as a family entertainer mixing rom-com, drama and full-blown masala.

While the motion poster has already piqued curiosity, fans won't have to wait long for more. The official teaser drops on August 28.

Backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the rom-com is slated to release on October 2, a date handpicked to coincide with both Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra. Industry sources say the festival weekend ensures a three-week clean run until Diwali - giving this colourful drama maximum room to shine at the box office.
