SSU, Sofs Strike Gas Processing Facility In Russia's Ust-Luga
According to preliminary information, Ukrainian drones hit the Novatek gas processing complex, Russia's largest liquefied gas producer. Video footage shows a powerful explosion followed by a massive fire. Observers note that the strike targeted the cryogenic gas fractionation unit - considered the“heart” of the facility's technological processes.
This is the second successful SSU drone attack on Ust-Luga this year, the first having occurred in early January, the SSU reminded.
“Through this terminal, Russia trades oil and gas using its 'shadow fleet.' Drone strikes by the SSU reduce the inflow of foreign currency that Russia needs to wage war,” said an informed SSU source.
