Anti-Aircraft Systems Neutralize 36 Of 49 Russian Drones

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this in Telegram .

From 10:40 p.m. on Friday, August 22, the Russians attacked 49 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the following directions: Shatalovo, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The air attack was repelled by units of electronic warfare and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 Saturday, August 23, anti-aircraft defense shot down/neutralized 36 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and simulator drones of various types in the north, east, and center of Ukraine.

13 UAV hits were recorded in seven locations in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions.

As reported by Ukrinform, residential buildings were damaged in Konotop, Sumy region, as a result of a Russian attack.
