Kuwait Moi: 115 Residency Violators Detained

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Aug 21 (KUNA) -- The General Department of Traffic personnel detained 115 residency violators and three fugitives in a wide-scale operation from the 13th of this month until yesterday (Wednesday).
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement on Thursday that the forces issued 3,239 traffic citations, impounded two vehicles for breaching traffic regulations, referred three persons to the traffic station, seized 58 vehicles, arrested three fugitives and 115 violators of the residency and work laws.
Twelve juveniles were arrested for driving without a permit, it said, adding that 36 persons who failed to present required papers were referred to police stations. (end)
