Ajman Department Of Finance Concludes Its Participation In 'Our Happy Summer' With Over 235 Participants In Six Specialised Programmes


(MENAFN- Mid-East Info) In the presence of His Excellency Marwan Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, the department concluded its participation in the sixth edition of 'Our Happy Summer', which spanned an entire month. The initiative delivered a comprehensive programme combining education, experience, creativity, and entertainment, targeting children and youth across various age groups.


Marking its fifth consecutive year of participation, the activities attracted more than 235 participants who benefited from six diverse programmes blending digital and financial skills, social values, and entertainment activities. The initiative achieved a satisfaction rate of 97%, according to surveys completed by participants and their parents.

The programme also celebrated the graduation of 20 students from the 'Young Innovators Diploma', which focused on the fundamentals of programming and artificial intelligence through an interactive approach designed to develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills. His Excellency Marwan Al Ali, Director General of the Department, honoured the participants and presented graduation certificates at a special ceremony held as part of the closing ceremony.

The series of programmes presented by the department in this edition also included the 'Future of Money – Digital Currencies' initiative, which offered a simplified explanation of the role of digital currencies in driving smart and sustainable economic transformation. In addition, 'My Little Invention' programme enabled children to design simple innovations using manual tools, fostering creativity and teamwork.

The activities further featured the 'The Journey of an Inspirer' workshop, which provided school students with the opportunity to explore the principles of process design and customer experience using modern digital tools. Meanwhile, the 'Letters and Ideas' programme combined reading with creative writing, empowering students to author their own short stories. On the recreational side, the department launched the 'Play It Right!' programme, which ran throughout the event period and featured a collection of intellectual games and competitions inspired by heritage, designed to instil a sense of teamwork and belonging in an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere.

Al Ali affirmed that the success achieved this year reflects the department's keenness to deliver carefully designed programmes that address the needs of diverse target groups and achieve the desired impact. This, he noted, stems from the department's commitment to its social role in preparing a generation equipped with knowledge and skills, and capable of keeping pace with the changes of the modern era.

He added that these initiatives represent an investment in people, designed to empower future generations with knowledge, prepare them to lead the future, and build a knowledge-based economy founded on innovation, in line with Ajman Vision 2030. His Excellency stressed that the department will continue to launch innovative social and developmental programmes that contribute to sustainable development and enhance the quality of life in the emirate.
