Kuwait Expresses Grave Concern Over Worsening Humanitarian Situation In Sudan

KUWAIT, Aug 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Foreign Ministry expressed its grave concern over the accelerated deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Sudan to critical levels.
In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry urged all parties to take urgent measures to protect civilians, allow and facilitate the flow of aid, as per stipulations of international humanitarian laws and the 2023 Jeddah declaration on protection of civilians in Sudan.
The Ministry also supports the statement issued by Aligned for Advancing Lifesaving and Peace in Sudan (ALPS) group in that regard, commending the steps taken to alleviate the suffering of Sudanese people. (end)
