Algeria Opens Live Sheep Market To Brazil
The ministries said the opening represents a business opportunity, especially for exporters from Brazil's North and Northeast regions, where sheep farming holds economic and social importance, creating jobs and fostering development.
The ministries say that Algeria is an increasingly important trade partner for Brazil, and in 2021 Brazilian agricultural products worth USD 1.3 billion were exported to Algeria. Last year, these exports exceeded USD 2.2 billion.
