Mutant Elevates Archana Menon To Lead Singapore And Malaysia Offices


(MENAFN- PRovoke) SINGAPORE - Independent communications agency Mutant has promoted Archana Menon to lead both its Singapore and Malaysia markets It has also appointed Allen Looi as its new head of social, signalling a strategic move to scale integrated offerings and regional growth, it said.

A trusted leader within the business, Menon first joined Mutant in 2021 as country manager for Malaysia. In her time with the agency, she has played an instrumental role in building a high-performing team, expanding the agency's client base, and delivering consistent year-on-year growth.

In 2024 , she drove 26% revenue growth for Malaysia, with marquee brands such as Marriott, LEGOLAND Malaysia, and PepsiCo trusting Mutant to run its sustainability program across APAC, the agency said.

With this expanded remit, Menon will now lead Singapore and Malaysia, Mutant's two most established markets, with a focus on scaling revenue and strengthening team culture.

A natural fit for the role, Menon has long worked across borders with regional clients and teams, and is known for her people-first leadership, deep client relationships, and ability to drive integrated brand and PR mandates with impact.

Mutant has also bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Looi as head of social. A seasoned strategist with experience across IPG Mediabrands, The Coca-Cola Company, and most recently Naga DDB Tribal, Looi brings a wealth of social and digital expertise from both agency and in-house perspectives.

At Coca-Cola, he led social media efforts across Singapore and Malaysia, working on household names such as Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Nutri Boost. At Naga DDB Tribal, he was head of social, overseeing work for clients including KFC Malaysia, Prudential, and Resorts World Genting.
