Scorcher To Gradually Taper Off Over Next 3 Days-JMD

Amman, July 26 (Petra) - The weather on Saturday will be dry almost countrywide and scorching in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with northwesterly and moderate winds.
In its report, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warns of the risk of prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during the afternoon, and possibility of reduced horizontal visibility in the Badia region due to dust.
The weather on Sunday will substantially remain unchanged, with northwesterly winds, often active and causing dust storms in the desert areas.
Meanwhile on Monday and Tuesday, temperatures will drop slightly, consecutively, and the weather will remain warm almost nationwide and blistering in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Also today, mercury in Amman will hit a range of 37-24 degrees Celsius, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a sweltering 45C, sliding to 29C at night.
