FM, UN Guterres Talk Aid Delivery To Gaza

New York, July 26 (Petra) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi held talks Friday evening with UN Secretary-General Ant?nio Guterres, focusing on efforts to address the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza Strip due to Israel's aggression and prevention of aid delivery into the Palestinian strip.
During the talks, Safadi and Guterres discussed cooperation between Jordan and UN organizations in efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
In a Foreign Ministry statement, both sides stressed the importance of United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA)'s role, which is " indispensable and irreplaceable".
