Gulf Arab Navy Chiefs Convene Ahead Of Joint Drill

KUWAIT, July 21 (KUNA) -- Navy chiefs from within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) bloc gathered in Kuwait for talks aiming to put preparations in place ahead of a joint exercise, the Kuwaiti military said on Monday.
The talks aim to put in the final touches before the GCC-wide navy drill ensues, it said in a statement, citing the exercise as part of a series of similar initiatives to boost defense cooperation across the six-member bloc, it added. (end)
