Workers' Support And Insurance Fund, QCPA Sign Memorandum Of Cooperation

DOHA: The Workers' Support and Insurance Fund signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants (QCPA).

The aim is to promote shared goals and support efforts between the two parties regarding the exchange of expertise and the benefit of joint cooperation in scientific and technical fields on all matters related to accounting and auditing.

The memorandum also aims to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, launch qualitative initiatives that serve the objectives of both parties, in addition to implementing training programs in accounting, auditing, and related fields.

The memorandum was signed by Executive Director of the Workers' Support and Insurance Fund, Kholoud Saif Al Kubaisi, and Chairperson of QCPA Dr. Hashim Al Sayed.

The Executive Director of the Workers' Support and Insurance Fund praised QCPA's efforts and its active commitment to serving the community, noting that such cooperation is one of the fundamental aspects pursued by the Fund to strengthen constructive cooperation with institutions concerned with social affairs, especially since the Association has extensive experience in training, consulting, and expert work.

In turn, the QCPA Chairperson expressed his gratitude to the Workers' Support and Insurance Fund for building bridges of communication and cooperation, indicating that the memorandum will constitute an additional asset to the Association and its commitment to strengthening and enhancing its strategic partnerships with various institutions and entities.

Acknowledging the significant efforts made by the Workers' Support and Insurance Fund in promoting workers' rights, improving living conditions, and providing essential support and protection, Dr. Al Sayed emphasised the importance of continued cooperation to further develop and enhance the competencies of accountants and financial professionals working at the Fund, as well as the need to provide experienced and qualified experts and auditors.

He further added that the memorandum contributes to the growing number of agreements and memoranda of cooperation concluded by the Association with various entities, with the aim of advancing the accounting profession and developing its existing workforce.

The agreement comes as part of QCPA's efforts to engage in professional communication and cooperation with all state institutions. It aligns with the Association's mission to advance and develop the accounting and auditing profession and to qualify practitioners according to the highest professional and scientific standards and practices. This enhances the efficiency of professionals in the field and contributes to the growth of the national economy.
