DLS 'Ready' To Transfer Land Expertise To Palestinian Side-Director

Amman, July 16 (Petra) – Director General of Department of Lands and Survey (DLS) Dr. Ahmad Omoush, discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and transfer Jordan's real estate model with a delegation from the Palestinian Land Authority (PLA).
According to a DLS statement on Wednesday, the visit aimed to review the latest developments in the department's registration and technical operations, e-services, as well as legislative developments in the laws and regulations in force.
During the delegation's tour at the DLS facilities, Omoush expressed the "deep-rooted, brotherly" Jordanian-Palestinian relations, affirming "firm"support to His Majesty's courageous positions in backing the Palestinian cause, as "a permanent national issue."
Omoush added that the DLS welcomes cooperation with the Palestinian side and is harnessing all its capabilities to expand framework for joint collaboration, mainly transferring expertise related to land, surveying, and settlement aspects.
In turn, the delegation praised DLS's "unparalleled" attention during their three-day visit.
