Gaza Genocide: Israeli Atrocities Kill Over Ten Palestinians, Children Included
(MENAFN) At least 10 Palestinians, including several children, were killed and others injured on Wednesday following a series of Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, according to a Palestinian news agency.
A strike on a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza, resulted in the deaths of four individuals—three of whom were children.
Another Israeli attack targeted the al-Safa building within the same camp, killing one civilian and injuring several more.
In the southern part of Gaza City, two Palestinians were killed and more sustained injuries when a residential home in the Sabra neighborhood was bombed.
In Khan Younis, an airstrike struck makeshift shelters near the Attar gas station in the al-Mawasi district, claiming two more lives and wounding additional people.
Meanwhile, a 6-year-old child was killed and others were injured when Israeli shelling hit displacement tents close to the Tiberias gas station, also in al-Mawasi.
Despite growing international demands for a ceasefire, Israel has continued its military campaign in Gaza, which began in late October 2023. According to local reports, nearly 58,500 Palestinians have been killed—many of them women and children.
The prolonged offensive has left much of Gaza in ruins, triggering severe food shortages and outbreaks of disease.
In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on allegations of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza.
Additionally, Israel is currently facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its ongoing war in the enclave.
