Airplane explodes in London killing four people

(MENAFN) A tragic plane crash at London Southend Airport on Sunday claimed the lives of four individuals, according to reports released the following day.

The aircraft, operated by a Dutch-based firm, was identified as flight SUZ1. The aviation company confirmed the crash, which reportedly resulted in a massive explosion described by witnesses as a “fireball.”

The 12-meter aircraft had made stops in Greece and Croatia earlier on the same day before arriving at Southend. It had been scheduled to return to Lelystad Airport in the Netherlands later that evening.

In response to the incident, Southend Airport declared that operations would be suspended indefinitely, citing the severity of the crash.
