Kuwait Min. Discusses Cooperation On Sideline Of Geneva's DCO Meeting

GENEVA, July 10 (KUNA) -- Communications Minister and Chairman of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) Council's current session 2025, Omar Al-Omar, held various meetings with officials, Thursday, in Geneva, addressing areas of cooperation in the field of communications and information technology.
Al-Omar met with Malaysian Communications Minister Fahmi Fadil, Singaporean Digital Development and Information Minister Rahayu Mahzam, and Azerbaijani Digital Development and Transport Minister Rashad Nabiyev.
He also discussed ways to enhance areas of cooperation with the DCO during the meetings.
DCO is a multilateral international organization that aims to promote digital prosperity and accelerate the inclusive and sustainable growth of the global digital economy.
Ambassador Nasser Al-Hayen, Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva, attended the meetings as well.
Last February, Kuwait assumed the presidency of the DCO's fifth session, General Assembly for 2025. (end)
