Kyiv Receives 16 Generators, Charging Stations From Slovakia
"Kyiv has received the first batch of humanitarian assistance from Slovakia: 16 generators of various capacities and two sets of charging stations rated at 8 kW each, with a total value of EUR 166,000. The three most powerful generators (225 kW, 100 kW, and 63 kW) will be delivered to schools in different districts of the capital," Klitschko said.
The mayor noted that in the second half of January, on the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine in Slovakia, together with the country's largest fundraising platform Donio and ten leading civil society organizations in Slovakia, a large-scale fundraising campaign titled "Warmth for Ukraine" was launched.
"Nearly EUR 1.1 million has already been raised from more than 19,500 donors. These funds are being used to support Ukrainian communities. In particular, our Slovak partners are purchasing and delivering generators and charging stations," Klitschko wrote.
