Pentagon To Send Additional Defensive Weapons To Ukraine At President Trump's Direction
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) That is according to the statement by Pentagon Spokesperson Sean Parnell, Ukrinform reports.
“At President Trump's direction, the Department of Defense is sending additional defensive weapons to Ukraine to ensure the Ukrainians can defend themselves while we work to secure a lasting peace and ensure the killing stops,” the statement reads.
It is also emphasized that the framework for assessing U.S. military aid worldwide under the President's oversight“remains in effect and is integral to our America First defense priorities.”
