Türkiye’s Radio Teknoloji Set to Dubut Cutting-Edge Hybrid Wireless System

(MENAFN) Turkish technology firm Radio Teknoloji is set to debut its cutting-edge hybrid wireless system, Astradrive, at the upcoming International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), scheduled for July 22–27 at the Istanbul Expo Center.

Specializing in rugged broadband wireless systems for both defense and civilian sectors, Radio Teknoloji designed Astradrive to deliver next-generation connectivity in the most demanding conditions—whether on land, sea, or in industrial zones.

Astradrive is engineered to deliver high-bandwidth, low-latency, and continuous connectivity in environments where conventional systems struggle, maintaining stable mobility and broad coverage even amid heavy signal interference, said Ilyas Pehlivanoglu, the company’s deputy general manager, in an interview with media.

Poised to redefine wireless communications in security, maritime, and industrial domains, Astradrive brings a robust, 6G-compatible infrastructure that ensures longevity and adaptability for future tech upgrades. Its ability to handle real-time data transmission and enable remote coordination underpins its uninterrupted performance across operations.

Equipped with a self-healing mesh network, the system is engineered to support a range of high-demand applications—from mobile command centers and infrastructure protection to industrial monitoring and surveillance in remote areas.

Designed in a compact, backpack-style unit, Astradrive establishes reliable radio links for mobile teams using mesh and star network topologies, maintaining continuous contact with command vehicles and other mobile units.

The system’s extended-range capabilities provide stable ship-to-shore connectivity even in open sea environments. Built with maritime-grade materials to resist corrosion and withstand extreme marine conditions, its adaptive modulation allows seamless use on moving platforms—an essential for coordinated naval operations, safe vessel navigation, and port-side integration.

Engineered for resilience, Astradrive endures harsh conditions such as dust, vibrations, and extreme temperatures, making it well-suited for mining, manufacturing, and other heavy industrial applications. The platform supports remote machinery control, real-time status updates, and predictive maintenance analytics.

Astradrive can transmit data at speeds up to 200 megabytes per second over distances reaching 30 kilometers (18.6 miles), enabling simultaneous data exchange between dozens of military vehicles or ships operating in transit or across vast marine expanses.
