TrafficGuard Appoints Miguel Lopes to Accelerate Product Growth and Channel Expansion
(MENAFN- Ilex Content Strategies) Lopes brings over 20 years’ experience in AI technology and rapid product development from Syniverse, Dialogic, Cataleya, Synacor and Visionable Global.
Australia, 02 July 2025 – TrafficGuard, a leading platform for digital ad verification and fraud prevention, has appointed Miguel Lopes as Chief Product Officer. Lopes will oversee the development of solutions that protect advertising spend, accelerate support for new channels, and drive the launch of innovative products. He brings over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including Synacor, Syniverse, Dialogic, Cataleya, and Visionable Global. This appointment comes after parent company, Adveritas, raised $8.5m in a straight placement to leading Australian institutions to fuel a USA expansion.
Lopes will support TrafficGuard’s strategic focus on emerging Large Language Model (LLM) environments, ensuring the platform is well positioned to manage ad exposure and fraud risks as monetisation opportunities evolve. He will also accelerate channel integrations to expand TrafficGuard’s coverage - unlocking access to a broader addressable market and enabling cross-sell opportunities.
Mat Ratty, CEO of TrafficGuard said, “We needed a hands-on CPO to take control of development. Lopes brings years of experience to the team, and his knowledge in AI is set to drive our products forward. The addition of Miguel is the missing piece our company has needed and after one of our most extensive interview processes, I’m confident that Miguel’s appointment will complement the TrafficGuard strategy.”
TrafficGuard is a multi-award winning platform that detects, mitigates, and reports on digital invalid traffic and ad fraud before it hits advertising budgets, trusted by thousands of global businesses. TrafficGuard is riding a robust growth pipeline and plans to significantly invest in expanding agency partnerships, advancing its omnichannel ad fraud protection solutions, and strengthening integrations across key advertising channels.
Miguel Lopes, Chief Product Officer, TrafficGuard said “I’m looking forward to adding my take on innovation at TrafficGuard. The rates of ad fraud are soaring with the addition of technology like AI. It will be good to use this tech for good, keeping TrafficGuard one step ahead of the fraudsters. I can’t wait to be part of this increasingly essential company, and part of the talented team around me.”
Lopes’ appointment positions TrafficGuard to lead in a rapidly evolving ad landscape, enhancing its fraud prevention capabilities and accelerating the rollout of innovative products to meet the demands of next-generation digital advertising.
