Laos Aims to Integrate AI for Education Enhancement
(MENAFN) The Association of Private Education in Laos recently hosted a workshop designed to explore the practical uses of artificial intelligence (AI) in the education sector, aiming to strengthen AI knowledge among private school principals and teachers nationwide.
The workshop attracted 120 participants, including school administrators, principals, educators, and entrepreneurs from Vientiane, as well as several provinces, including Xieng Khuang, Bokeo, Luang Namtha, Luang Prabang, Vientiane, and Bolikhamxay. The event was reported by the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports on Monday.
Khamsen Sisavong, president of the association, underscored the significance of this training session, highlighting its role in integrating AI to improve both teaching and learning in Laos' private schools. This workshop is a vital move towards improving education with AI, providing benefits for both educators and students, Sisavong remarked.
Participants had the opportunity to delve into AI applications tailored to specific subjects, focusing on boosting research, analysis, and information gathering skills in the digital age. The workshop aimed to equip educators with the tools and strategies necessary to enhance their teaching practices and better meet the evolving needs of students in today's rapidly changing educational environment.
