Moscow, June 29 (Petra) – Russian authorities announced on Sunday that consumer price inflation has eased to 9.5 percent, signaling a continued trend of price stability and deceleration.
In a statement, Russia's Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said, "The annual inflation rate has declined to 9.5 percent, down from 9.9 percent in May. Although the May inflation reading exceeded expectations, recent weekly data suggests that the pace of price increases is steadily slowing."
The announcement comes as policymakers and economic analysts closely monitor inflation trends amid efforts to maintain macroeconomic stability and control cost-of-living pressures.
