Trump uses ‘F-bomb’ due to Israel, Iran violating US-brokered ceasefire

(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump used explicit language to criticize both Israel and Iran for allegedly violating a US-brokered ceasefire. Shortly after the ceasefire was agreed upon, Israel accused Iran of launching additional missiles and vowed a tough response, while Iran denied any attacks. The exact start time of the truce remains unclear.

Before leaving for the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump told reporters, “We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they do not know what the f**k they are doing.” He expressed disappointment with both sides, but especially Israel, accusing it of striking immediately after agreeing to the truce, saying, “They did not have to unload.”

Trump pointed out one rocket was apparently fired after the ceasefire deadline and urged both sides to “calm down.” He also reiterated his stance that Iran would never rebuild its nuclear capabilities after the US and Israeli attacks.

On his Truth Social platform, Trump warned Israel in capital letters not to drop bombs, calling it a “major violation” and ordering Israeli pilots to return home. He later claimed Israel would not attack Iran and that planes would return while “doing a friendly ‘plane wave’” to Tehran, insisting the ceasefire was in effect and no one would be hurt.

However, Iranian news outlets reported explosions in the west of the country near Babol and Babolsar, with one agency saying the missiles landed in unpopulated areas. Israeli officials confirmed to The Times of Israel that the IDF conducted a “small strike” on an Iranian radar north of Tehran in retaliation for earlier Iranian attacks.
