GCC Ministerial Council To Hold Extraordinary Meeting In Qatar
Doha, Qatar: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), HE Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, stated that the 49th Extraordinary Meeting of the GCC Ministerial Council will be held today, Tuesday, June 24, 2024, in Doha.
The meeting will be chaired by HE Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, President of the current session of the Ministerial Council, and attended by Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the GCC states.
The Secretary General stated that the GCC Ministerial Council will discuss the latest developments in the Iranian missile attack that targeted the sisterly State of Qatar.
He emphasised that this meeting affirms the GCC states' solidarity with their brothers in Qatar and also stresses that the security and stability of Qatar are an integral part of the security and stability of the GCC states.
