Turkish Foreign Minister Holds Talks with Regional Peers


(MENAFN) Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan convened with his counterparts from Syria, Yemen, Iran, Tunisia, and Iraq in Istanbul, according to a statement released by the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Sunday.

During the diplomatic exchanges, Hakan Fidan conducted individual talks with Asaad al-Shaibani representing Syria, Shaya Zindani from Yemen, Abbas Araghchi of Iran, Mohamed Ali Nafti of Tunisia, and Fuad Hussein from Iraq, the ministry confirmed via a post on X.

These bilateral engagements were held independently on the margins of the 51st Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the ministry further noted in its announcement.
