Doha: The Kuwait National Guard (KNG) and the Saudi Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC) announced on Sunday that radiation levels in the air and water across the two countries or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states remained stable, confirming that the situation was "normal."

In a statement, the KNG Directorate of Moral Guidance said that the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Center for Chemical Defense and Radiation Monitoring continued to carry out accurate and continuous radiation level readings through its monitoring networks, which are set out across various regions of the country, according to Kuwait news agency.

These announcement comes just hours after US President Donald Trump announced that the US had carried out a "very successful attack" on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.
