Arab League Chief, Serbian PM Discuss Israeli Aggressions On Gaza, Iran


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, June 18 (KUNA) -- Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Abul-Gheit held talks on Wednesday with Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic to discuss the ongoing Israeli occupation aggressions on the Gaza Strip as well as recent developments concerning Iran.
In a statement, the Arab League said the meeting witnessed an exchange of views on key political developments of mutual concern at both regional and international levels, with particular emphasis on the continued Israeli military operations in Gaza.
The talks also addressed the recent Israeli attacks on Iran and the serious implications of this escalation for regional and international peace and security.
The two sides further reviewed avenues for enhancing cooperation mechanisms between the Arab League and Serbia in international fora, with the aim of fostering broader prospects for constructive collaboration. (end)
