Jordan Red Crescent Society Announces Opening Of Free Medical Clinic For Syrian Refugees

Amman, June 16 (Petra) -- The Jordan Red Crescent Society (JRCS) announced the opening of a free medical clinic dedicated to Syrian refugees, scheduled to open Tuesday in Amman as part of an initiative is in cooperation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and supported by the Japanese Red Cross.
In a press statement, JRCS explained that the clinic will provide primary healthcare services, manage chronic diseases, handle emergency cases and dispense necessary medications. The clinic will operate at the JRCS HQ building.
The statement emphasised that the clinic will be open to Syrian refugee patients from Sunday to Thursday mornings. Patients are encouraged to bring a valid UNHCR card or security ID when visiting.
