Washington: Authorities in the northwest US city of Spokane, Washington, declared a nighttime curfew Wednesday following protests against President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown.

"Mayor Lisa Brown has issued a curfew to begin at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday," the mayor's office posted on Facebook.

The curfew will last until 5:00 am (1200 GMT), it added.
