Youth Visitors Held For Aerial Firing In Nuristan
KABUL (Pajhwok): A group of youths has been arrested in eastern Nuristan province after arriving with weapons and engaging in aerial gunfire, an official said on Wednesday.
Saif- Islam Khyber, spokesman for the Ministry of Vice and Virtue and Complaints (MoVVC), wrote on his X handle that a group of young men had traveled to Nuristan province on Tuesday with firearms.
He said that the individuals engaged in aerial firing and acts of public disorder, and were subsequently disarmed and arrested by the Department of Vice and Virtue and Complaints, in coordination with the provincial police headquarters.
He emphasised that Eid is a time for celebration and joy-not for causing unrest or violating the law.
“No one is allowed to disturb others, commit immoral acts, or create disorder,” Khyber added.
Further details about the incident were not provided.
