Army Chief Awarded Japan's Order Of The Rising Sun

Amman, June 10 (Petra) - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, on Tuesday evening received the "Order of the Rising Sun" from the Emperor of Japan in recognition of his outstanding efforts in strengthening military cooperation between Jordan and Japan.
The honor was bestowed during an official ceremony at the Japanese Embassy in Amman, attended by a number of senior military officials and diplomats from both countries.
After presenting the medal to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Japanese Ambassador praised the significant role of Major General Al-Hnaity in strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, particularly in defense and the exchange of joint military expertise. He emphasized that this gesture reflects Japan's appreciation for Jordan's efforts in supporting regional security and stability.
For his part, Major General Al-Hnaity expressed his thanks and appreciation for this honor, affirming the continued work to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
The "Order of the Rising Sun" is one of Japan's most prestigious decorations, awarded to individuals and officials who contribute to strengthening international relations with Japan or achieve outstanding accomplishments in diplomatic, military, and cultural fields.
