Kuwait PM Chairs Northern Economic Zone Project Team Meetings

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 10 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah chaired the Northern Economic Zone project team meeting at Bayan Palace on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they reviewed the Northern Economic Zone's preliminary strategy, emphasizing private sector involvement through a flexible legislative framework and incentives for industrial, commercial, and tourism activities.
Discussions also covered the project's legal framework, aiming to create a transparent, investment-friendly model under Kuwait's sovereignty.
Attending the meeting were the Head of the Prime Minister's Diwan, Abdulaziz Al-Dakheel, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Abdullah Al-Mishari, and several specialists from the Northern Economic Zone project team. (end)
