Doha: The State of Qatar welcomed the decision of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) to disarm and disband, expressing hope that this important step will enhance security, stability, and prosperity in the sisterly Republic of Turkiye and in the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed, in a statement today, the State of Qatar's full support of all the steps that would strengthen the unity among the people of the Republic of Turkiye, and would enhance peace at the regional level.
