Ukraine Approves Use Of New Ground Robot Equipped With Machine Gun

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and authorized the use of a domestically produced ground robotic complex, the D-21-12R, equipped with a large-caliber machine gun for deployment in the Armed Forces.

The ministry announced this on its website , Ukrinform reports.

According to the main directorate for support of the life cycle of weapons and military equipment, the D-21-12R is designed for versatile operational tasks, including surveillance, patrolling, providing fire support to units, and neutralizing enemy personnel and lightly armored vehicles. Its operator can control the robot from a protected shelter at a considerable distance.

The D-21-12R demonstrates exceptional maneuverability, making it effective for operations in off-road terrains, marshlands, and shallow water obstacles.

As previously reported, the Ukrainian kamikaze drone Amaga-10 has been officially authorized for deployment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
