Kuwait Beats Yarmuk, Qadsiya Overcomes Khaitan In Kuwait Premier League

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 28 (KUNA) -- Kazma football team beat Yarmuk 2-0 in the 18th and final round of the first phase of Kuwait Premier League (Zain Tournament) held tonight at Al-Sadaqa and Al-Salam Stadium of Kazma Club.
Kazma increased its score to 19 points, ranking seventh in the tournament, while Yarmuk retained the 10th and last status (with six points).
The tournament concludes on Saturday with two significant encounters; with the 44-point Kuwait (the leading team) playing against Tadamun, the sixth (with 20 points), while Al-Arabi (the second with the goals' difference) playing against Salmiya, the fifth (with 28 points).
Also today (Friday), Qadsiya beat Khaitan 2-1 in a match played at Nasser Al-Osaimi Stadium.
Qadsiya upped its points to 35 coming third while Khaitan remained the 9th rank (with 11 points). (end)
