UDC Announces Exciting Eid Al Fitr Celebrations On The Pearl And Gewan Islands

Doha, Qatar: United Development Company (UDC), leading Qatari public shareholding company and the master developer of The Pearl Island and Gewan Island, is delighted to unveil a special series of Eid Al Fitr celebrations, running from March 31 to April 5, 2025.

As part of the occasion, the popular Pearl Ramadan Bazaar in Porto Arabia will see a change in operating hours, opening daily from 3pm to 10pm during the Eid holiday. Alongside this shift, visitors can expect a refreshed programme of festive entertainment, bringing the spirit of Eid to life across both islands.

This year, for the first time, Gewan Island will also join the celebration, offering guests an exciting new location to experience the joy of Eid through curated entertainment and engaging activities.

Across the two islands, guests will be welcomed into a lively atmosphere filled with cultural performances, traditional music, and live stage shows that pay tribute to the rich heritage of the region. Children can enjoy a variety of engaging activities, including face painting, arts and crafts workshops, and encounters with roaming mascots in an Eid parade designed to delight the young and young at heart.

Among the crowd favourites returning this year are the henna art stalls, where skilled artists create intricate designs in celebration of Eid, and the caricaturist, offering playful portraits that capture the festive mood.
